13 Point Electric Setup (Non Floyd Rose £60) (with Floyd Rose style locking tremolo £80) plus cost of strings if required

Ensures the optimum playability of the instrument. Properly sets the neck relief, guitar action and intonation. General maintenance safeguards the value of the instrument and identifies any issues. Fret polishing, electronic cleaning and fretboard oil are standard. My guitar setup includes an assessment of your guitar, including adjusting the action, intonation, and truss rod to optimise playability and sound quality. This service includes a thorough cleaning and conditioning of the fretboard and hardware, ensuring that your guitar looks and plays like new.

13 Point Bass Setup £60 (plus cost of strings if required)

Nut Replacement £25 (plus cost of nut)

Restring (6 string guitars) £15 (12 string guitars £25) plus cost of strings

Fret Dressing (Level, Crown and Polish) Includes Setup (Non floyd rose £120) (with floyd rose style locking tremelo £140) plus cost of strings if required

I will level and crown your frets, removing any imperfections or buzzing and ensuring that your guitar plays smoothly and with optimal intonation. This service also includes a full setup to ensure that your guitar is perfectly optimized for your playing style.

Guitar setups are mainly focused on playability and general maintenance. Unless specified by the customer, the goal is low action with little or no buzzing. 

At WrayZ Guitar Setups, I perform setups by taking measurements, restoring the guitar to the proper measurements and then making final adjustments based on feel.

1. Initial inspection of the guitar.

2. Truss rod adjustment to provide the proper amount of relief in the neck. (.010 measured at the 8th and 9th fret) (.012 for basses)

3. Bridge height adjustment to adjust the string height at the 12th (acoustics) and 17th (electrics and basses.) 

4. Rotate volume & tone pots. Spray with contact cleaner if scratchy, tighten if loose, note any recommendations for the owner.

5. Clean & polish the frets.

6. Clean the fretboard & oil (Rosewood, Pau Ferro and Ebony.)

7. Change strings and tune. Lubricate nut.

8. Tighten loose tuning machines and torque if necessary.

9. Tighten any loose screws on the body.

10. Check and adjust the pickup height.

11. Set and adjust the intonation. 

12. Clean the guitar.

13. Play the guitar and check for buzzing, playability, overall feel.
